Udyana Mandala Retreat Hermitage and Farm
Quinta Udyana, is a Buddhist retreat hermitage, and small farm, in Portugal in the region of Portalegre and Castelo de Vide. It is the main seat of the Udyana Dharma Buddhist group. It is a simple place - a place of spiritual cultivation and retreat, where the natural way of living in harmony with nature, working with the land, and the cultivation of the spiritual path embrace each other, expressing the cultivation of the Buddhist path, and contemplative retreat live, in an integrative and natural approach.
At the moment there are no formally organized events or public activities at location, and we are not usually open to the general public as this is a private retreat hermitage. If you have interested in learning about Buddhism and our tradition or make contact, then visits may be possible if circumstances allow. You can send us a message using the contact form and we will see if its possible and send further information. Its not always possible as the hermitage is closed for retreat frequently.
